Crest Robotics and Coding Academy will be providing robotics and coding camps for 2026 using Lego kits and Scratch (a block based coding platform built by MIT). Camp will be from 9AM-5PM at 1100 Spruce St suite 102, Boulder, CO, 80302. Children are encouraged to attend more than one week of camp, as they will be progressively challenged each week to build their skills.

For robotics, we focus on individual class projects where we create a small team of 2-3 children that complete a project including building and coding in each class. For coding in Scratch, each child will be working individually. We use Google Photos to share pictures and videos of children working on projects with their parents. Our goal is to teach children problem solving skills and logical thinking. We also teach children how to model good and positive behaviors, learn how to work in teams and build their self-confidence and esteem by encouraging them to talk about their creations at the end of each project.

It is our goal to make these camps fun and engaging while delivering educational value! Camps will combine robotics, coding and games. These games will include chess, plot 4, dumb charades and others that will depend on the make up of the class. We may also have karaoke, dress up days and snow cone days. We plan to have some flexibility in our weekly camp schedules to allow children to have a voice in designing their weeks as well and to participate in activities that are the most fun to them!
