Crest Robotics and Coding Academy will be providing robotics classes for 2026-27 using Lego kits and Scratch (a block based coding platform built by MIT). Classes will be held on Mondays after school from 2:35PM to 3:35PM. Classes are on Mondays starting on Sep 14 and run through May 24. No class on Oct 12, Nov 23, Dec 21, Dec 28, Jan 18, Feb 15, Mar 22 and May 3.  On Jan 4 and Mar 29 we will be holding a virtual SCRATCH coding class. In addition, Apr 26 and May 10 will be used as a make up days for inclement weather and/or other emergencies.

For robotics, we focus on individual class projects where we create a small team of 2-3 children that complete a project including building and coding in each class. For coding in Scratch, each child will be working individually. We use Google Photos to share pictures and videos of children working on projects, with their parents, and also offer parents a chance for parent teacher conferences to discuss their learning and growth. Our goal is to teach children problem solving skills and logical thinking. We also teach children how to model good and positive behaviors, learn how to work in teams and build their self-confidence and esteem by encouraging them to talk about their creations at the end of each project.

Cancellation policy

Registration/sign up fees are non-refundable. Registration will enroll your child for the school year which is divided into three trimesters. Fees for first trimester are non-cancellable and non-refundable. Please note cancellation policy and timelines below for trimesters 2 and 3. If cancellation notice is not sent by the timelines, fees for the trimester are due in full and are non-refundable. Cancellation notice must be sent to info@crestcomputing.com. No exceptions will be made to cancellation policies.
