Crest Robotics and Coding Academy will be providing coding classes for 2026-2027 with proprietary in-house curriculum using Scratch (a block based coding platform built by MIT). Classes will be held on Mondays after school from 2:25PM to 3:25PM. Classes start on Sep 14 and run through May 24. No class on Sep 28, Nov 23, Dec 21, Dec 28, Jan 18, Feb 15, Mar 15 and May 17. On Jan 4 we will be holding a virtual SCRATCH coding class. In addition, Apr 19 and May 3 will be used as make up days for inclement weather and/or other emergencies.

For each class, we will split children in groups of up to two and code projects in Scratch. Multiple levels or projects are used for each class to cater to children from K-6. Through these projects, they will learn mathematics, logic, animation, storytelling, branching logic, and will even get to code and create their own video games! We use Google Photos to share pictures and videos of children working on projects with parents. Our goal is to teach children problem solving skills and logical thinking. We also teach children how to model good and positive behaviors, learn how to work in teams and build their self-confidence and esteem by encouraging them to talk about their creations at the end of each project.

Cancellation policy

Registration will enroll your child for the school year which is divided into three trimesters. Please note cancellation policy and timelines below for each trimester. If registration is not cancelled for trimester by the deadline, fees for the trimester are due in full and are non-refundable – fees for trimester are the fees charged for each month of the trimester. Cancellation notice must be sent to info@crestcomputing.com. No exceptions will be made to cancellation policies.

Cancellation timeline:

Trimester 1: Sep through Nov (cancel by end of July)

Trimester 2: Dec through Feb (cancel by end of October)

Trimester 3: Mar through May (cancel by end of January)
