Crest Robotics and Coding Academy will be providing robotics and coding classes for 2026-27 using Lego kits and Scratch (a block based coding platform built by MIT). Classes will be held on Thursdays after school from 2:35PM to 3:35PM at Red Rocks Elementary School, 17199 Highway 74, Morrison, CO 80465. Classes start on Sep 17 and run through May 6. The Oct 8 and Dec 10 classes will be held virtually and will focus on Scratch Coding. No class on Nov 26, Dec 24, Dec 31, Mar 25, and Apr 29. In addition, Apr 22 and May 6 will be used as make up days for inclement weather and/or other emergencies.

For robotics, we focus on individual class projects where we create a small team of 2-3 children that complete a project including building and coding in each class. For coding in Scratch, each child will be working individually. We use Google Photos to share pictures and videos of children working on projects, with their parents, and also offer parents a chance for parent teacher conferences to discuss their learning and growth. Our goal is to teach children problem solving skills and logical thinking. We also teach children how to model good and positive behaviors, learn how to work in teams and build their self-confidence and esteem by encouraging them to talk about their creations at the end of each project.

Cancellation policy

Registration/sign up fees are non-refundable. Registration will enroll your child for the school year which is divided into two semesters. Fees for the first semester are non-cancellable and non-refundable. To cancel enrollment for the Spring semester, cancellation notice must be sent by November 30, 2026. If cancellation notice is not sent by the deadline, fees for the Spring semester are due in full and are non-refundable. Cancellation notice must be sent to info@crestcomputing.com. No exceptions will be made to cancellation policies.
